Service Opportunities
We love to have organizations come out and help us in our local parks and wildlife areas. Developing a relationship with the land below your feet has a profound impact on conservation. Service projects are assigned to groups based on age and interests of the groups. Past service projects have included park clean-up, habitat construction, invasive removal, structure painting, and pollinator habitat development. These service opportunities provide critical hands-on skill development in an environment that fosters collaboration and allows students of the land to work towards a final goal.
If you would like to schedule a service opportunity, please fill out and submit a program request form. Please specify if your group has a location or project in mind. Currents service projects needed include but are not limited to:
- A class to sponsor and paint the buffalo at the Franek Prairie
- Park clean-up
- Fall seed harvesting
